If you're anything like me, feeling weak, nauseous, exhausted, mega in pain all over, or even just plain bloated partly due to periodically (no pun intended) low iron, is noooot a good time. Hopefully these ideas relieve some if not most of your discomfort !
- toast and peanut butter
- fruit
- trail mix
- dark chocolate
- iron in your cereal
- orange juice
- yogurt or frozen yogurt
- bananas
- almonds
- spinach and/or kale
- cut down on coffee (as ridiculous as that may sound given how tired you already feel, opt instead for going to bed an hour or so earlier than usual !!!)
- go for a walk! (even if it's just 10-15 minutes, when your regular exercise routine is not an option in your mind, some fresh air is always a good idea)
